The good news is that Fortnite is about to get lots of new content as part of update 39.11, but the bad news is that fans will have to suffer through some server downtime first.
Fortnite fans will have to exercise a modicum of patience this week, as the game is once again taken offline for maintenance.
The next period of server downtime will coincide with the launch of this year’s Winterfest event on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC and Android.
Fortunately, however, it’s almost certainly the final period of server downtime for the year, and the result will almost certainly be worth it.
