O2, EE, Three and Vodafone have a new rival to watch out for as Revolut Mobile confirms it’s starting rolling out across the UK.
There’s more competition coming to the UK’s mobile network market, and making the switch could save some serious money on the monthly bills. Finance and tech firm Revolut, has just officially started rolling out its new service, called Revolut Mobile, and early adopters are being offered some impressive launch incentives. These huge perks include totally unlimited 5G data, calls and texts for just £12.50 a month.
That’s a very competitive price that undercuts many existing unlimited plans from other main UK networks. For comparison, EE and Vodafone both currently charge £25 per month for a similar package. The Revolut deal becomes even more appealing for frequent travellers, as it includes a generous 20GB of roaming across the EU and the United States at no extra cost. This means users can browse, stream and stay connected in cities such as Paris, Berlin, New York and Los Angeles without facing additional charges — something many UK networks still impose, particularly for US travel.
Revolut Mobile also offers global messaging through its Messaging Pass, giving customers travelling in more than 80 countries access to low-bandwidth data for messaging via platfoms such as WhatsApp. Users can also add up to three phone numbers to a single plan, making it easier to manage work, personal and travel lines. To top it off, every subscription includes a complimentary NordVPN membership for secure and private browsing.
The service is currently being rolled out to customers on the waitlist, with full public availability expected in January 2026.
While the move marks an ambitious step for the fintech company, industry experts say success is far from guaranteed. Analyst Paolo Pescatore told Mirror Online that although combining banking services with mobile connectivity may sound appealing, strong execution will be crucial. He added that customer switching should not be assumed, given the highly competitive and fast-moving MVNO market.
Despite these challenges, Revolut believes it can compete with established networks such as EE, Vodafone and O2. Commenting on the launch, Hadi Nasrallah, General Manager of Telco at Revolut, said the company is aiming to deliver something genuinely different.
“Revolut Mobile is more than just another mobile service — it’s a truly differentiated alternative designed to disrupt the industry,” Nasrallah said.
“Our mission is to deliver the best service at the best price, backed by an outstanding user experience. We’re introducing real innovation through features like multiple numbers and global messaging, while eliminating hidden fees and unnecessary complexity.”
