The Apple Fitness+ service is getting a boost with more ways to lose that festive flab.

Apple Fitness+ is getting a heart-racing boost that could help you reach those all-important new year goals. The subscription service, which first launched back in 2020, has just added a whole bunch of new features, bonus content and extras such as special guest workouts.

Perhaps the best part of this latest release is a series of multi-week programs designed to help you get motivated. There are new Strength, HIIT, and Yoga classes that gradually build over time, allowing you to get fitter at a gentle pace.

For example, you can try the “Back-to-Back Strength and HIIT” program, which provides 20-minute workout experiences pairing these two popular workout types on Fitness+. Or there’s the chance to test out the “Build a Yoga Habit in 4 Weeks” plan, which is designed to help users add Yoga into their fitness routine more regularly

Another nice option will be ideal for anyone trying to get their fitness regime underway. It’s called “Make your Fitness Comeback” and features all three popular workout types: Strength, HIIT, and Yoga. Apple says the four-week plan features three workouts per week, one of each type, for just 10 minutes. Every week builds on the one before to help users progress in their journey to return to fitness.

These plans aren’t the only upgrade. Other extras coming to Fitness+ include new episodes of Time to Walk, featuring Spice Girl Mel B, actor and producer Penn Badgley and US actress Michelle Monaghan.

The Artist Spotlight series, which dedicates entire workout playlists to a single artist, also returns with new workouts featuring music from world-renowned music artists. Five new workouts are coming soon, featuring the music of Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter KAROL G.

Finally, there are some guest workouts to try from lifestyle and fitness creator Allie Bennett and dancers Luke and Paul Harwerth.

All content can be viewed on devices including the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, and features can be enhanced via the Apple Watch or the latest AirPods Pro buds. These accessories work in conjunction with Fitness+ to track heart rate and measure calories.

Apple Fitness+ is available for £9.99 per month or £79.99 per year.
