Lenovo’s ThinkTab X11 is the first Android tablet to carry the Think branding, and it brings features you won’t find on consumer tablets. The standout: it keeps running after you pull the battery, thanks to a small internal cell that maintains operation during hot-swap swaps.

    Built for the Factory Floor

The ThinkTab X11 targets frontline workers in logistics, manufacturing, construction, and transportation. It carries both MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP68 rating, meaning it handles drops, vibration, extreme temperatures, dust, and water submersion. An optional rugged case adds extra protection and includes a slot for the Lenovo Tab Pen XE stylus.

The 10.95-inch IPS LCD runs at 90Hz with 600 nits peak brightness and supports both glove and wet-touch input. Workers wearing protective gear or dealing with rain can interact with the screen without removing gloves or drying it off.

    Specs and Connectivity

The tablet packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It supports WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. A front-facing NFC reader enables contactless payments or access control scenarios.

Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports handle data transfer at 5 Gbps and support charging. One port also outputs video, making the ThinkTab X11 usable as a portable display in vehicle mounts or fixed installations. A 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card reader round out the I/O.

    The Removable Battery

The 10,200mAh battery comes out without tools, using a simple latch mechanism. Lenovo includes a 45W USB-C charger, and the tablet ships with Android 16 plus a promise of at least four years of security updates. It’s certified for Android Enterprise features, giving IT administrators centralized fleet management capabilities.

At 257 x 169 x 9.9mm and 650 grams, the ThinkTab X11 isn’t pocket-sized, but it’s lighter than many rugged tablets in the enterprise category. The combination of IP68 durability, hot-swappable battery, and Android Enterprise certification puts it in competition with devices from Zebra and Panasonic that typically cost considerably more.

    Pricing and Availability

The ThinkTab X11 launched at $500 in the U.S., with availability in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The optional rugged case and Tab Pen XE stylus are sold separately.
